The peoples are facing a flu pandemic which is the result of the capitalist interference in the environment and the societies. Whatever its origins, the nutritional habits pre-existed in any case, and whatever viral mutation took place that brought about the infection has to do with the relationship between the environment and the miserable people that cannot be fed anymore, as they could for so many years under the socialist care of maoist China.
This sanitary crime that culminated in a pandemic is clearly the result of the collapse of “public” healthcare systems in capitalism, over which a veil was about to be drawn, with the labeling of Chinese capitalism as underdeveloped; it was tragically uncovered in Northern Italy.
The fact that even the thousands of deaths and the paralysis of the economy and production is equally typical of the above facts, as well as the fact that these have become the cause of fierce exploitation by the capitalists-imperialists in the context of their conflicts; irrespective of their need to mask their inhumane face with a charitable interest for the tried peoples.
One thing is certain, that the systematic undervaluation and deconstruction of public healthcare for which the local governments strived (New Democracy, PASOK, SYRIZA and now again New Democracy) will lead to a domino effect of an inability to deal with the people's nursing needs. And this is ultimately the responsibility of the governments and their policies.
The current situation shows that it is only the unwearied efforts of the medical stuff of the hospitals that is saving the situation from the worst. This is apparent in the government's reckless decisions (a delay to shut down schools, theocratic views, last minute recruitments and even fewer than those promised in the summer of 2019) and in the failure of the responsible state sectors (National Organization of Public Healthcare, canting statements by scientists) that show their total lack of care for the people.
Facing the exclusively governmental responsibilities, the people, the toilers, every democratic force, must stand up for the total, free nursing for all people and refugees, without any exclusion (of age, religious, employment or racial nature). This flu might be able to strike literally anyone, its cure, however, is of a class nature.
