With heroic struggle and unspeakable sacrifices, the Palestinian people have for two years faced the bestial assault, the genocide being carried out by the Zionist state of Israel with the direct and active support of the USA. The US imperialists back their watchdog in the crucial Middle East by every means — the murderous state planted by imperialism to serve its bloody aims against the Arabs and all the peoples of the region. European imperialists, all the bourgeois classes, and even Russian and Chinese imperialism are complicit in this atrocity.
With Trump’s plan for Gaza, the US imperialists rush to support the Zionist formation in the most direct way; they aim to shape a protectorate under their hegemony and to rally the reactionary Arab regimes around their war plans. In this plan to enslave the Palestinian people, the European imperialists applauded, and Moscow and Beijing greeted it with “positive comments.”
Yet if, on the one hand, Trump’s plan exposes the raw brutality and barbarism of imperialism, on the other it demonstrates the indomitable strength of the mass armed national-liberation struggle of a “small” people who stand unbowed before the imperialist monsters.
The rallying expressed between the forces of the Palestinian resistance, around the line of irreconcilable struggle against imperialism and against any recognition of the murderous state — whose very existence negates the Palestinian people’s right to a free and independent homeland — is the only real path to vindication of this people’s struggles and sacrifices over the past 78 years! On the basis of this armed national liberation struggle, and inseparable from it, the revolutionary communist party and movement can and must be formed to lead and guide the struggle for revolution and socialism.
In today’s conditions of unrelenting intensification of capitalist savagery, sharpening imperialist rivalries, soaring military armaments, and the formation of war economies — in short, in the conditions of preparation for a new great imperialist war already incubating in the unjust slaughter in Ukraine — the struggle of the Palestinian people is at the forefront of the peoples’ anti-imperialist fight! That is why it inspires and ignites worldwide waves of popular and youth solidarity, in defiance of bans and even the criminalization of solidarity that the ruling powers impose everywhere.
It is our duty to strengthen solidarity. It is our duty, across all peoples, to turn solidarity into anti-imperialist, anti-war struggle in every country and region on the planet. The working class and the peoples of the world need to form and raise a Front of Anti-Imperialist, Anti-War Struggle — a front of friendship and solidarity of the exploited and oppressed masses.
